Sometimes the system curser could be seen on top of the game's rendered one.
I could play the demo without any issues - except for the problem with the curser of course. I also tried a PS4-controller which worked well, it even showed the right button symbols. Plays fine, would recommend.
strangle 144 bash -c 'exec "${@/2KLauncher\/LauncherPatcher.exe/Build\/Final\/Bioshock2HD.exe}"' -- %command% -nointro
To fix FOV(70 on default) and to disable vsync, I altered "Bioshock2SP.ini" and "User.ini" in "steamapps/compatdata/8850/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming"
With the help of others on here who kindly shared their launch options, I was able to get rid of the 2KLauncher. Game runs very well. Vsync off and framerate cap @ 144(libstrangle). Proton 8.0-5
WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 strangle 60 %command%
Game seems to be poorly optimized atm. I recommend enabling FSR that comes with Glorious Eggroll and limiting your FPS to a reasonable amount via libstrangle.
WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 strangle 60 %command% and set your game resolution beneath native to enable FSR
Played through the whole game without any problems at all, just with Steam Play for all other titles enabled. A perfect experience. Consider purchasing it on twitch.io to support the developer, you'll be given a steam key as well there on purchase. The game is great btw.
