Works out of the box for me. Has low framerates depending on settings but, this is due to the game being in development.

Because of the sheer unplayable framerate of 4 fps. hopefully gets fixed someday
Noticed Audio Crackling in the Intro
borderline unplayable framerate of 4 fps during Flights, no abnormalies in the main menu
i have to add that the night before i managed to get the game running with 70+ fps but also had the 4 fps issue there too sometimes, now i cant get it running at a acceptable framerate at all now. i didnt do any tinker or driver changes inbetween
also my system info because proton db is being weird about parsing it properly: -OS: Mint cinnamon 22 -Cinnamon version 6.2.9 -Linux Kernel 6.8.0-47-generic -CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 -GPU: RX 6650 XT -16 GB DDR4 Ram -newest Mesa drivers the mint updater at the time gave me

I purchased the early access version on 2024.5.20, installed it, played the tutorial, and didn't have any problems. I didn't do anything, just purchased it, installed it, and played it.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Due to the nature oft he game being a spacecraft simulator most text on switches and buttons required zooming in to see.
Some audio popping with the music.
Had to change configuration file to get native resolution working.
Failed to detect native resolution of 2260x1440, only went up to 2260x1080, had to edit config file.
Generally very poor performance, large ~65% drop in performance compared to Windows at same settings
Tried to fix the performance by disabling esync as well as proton experimental, no change.

PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
It seems PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
with the performance issues I initially had.
I have not resolved the issue with crackling sound yet.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% is necessary to fix performance.
Crashes at the end of loading a scenario
Great experience, the game can be unstable at times due to the nature of it being in early access. Did not try VR.

I had to lower the graphics settings in order to get acceptable frame rates.
