Game was working fine until the 03.13 Update on March 12 where they updated to "The newest version of Easy Anti-Cheat has been implemented." Only giving SteamDeck Support seems like a trend now to only support steamdeck and leave out the rest of linux.

Doesn't seem to have any issues. Feels the same as when I played it on windows.
Starts but won't connect and has issues initializing SteamAPI
Tried a whole ton of Proton versions and the only one that launched was 7.0-6. Regardless of this, the game pops up with an error "SteamAPI Init failed!". Hitting "okay" in this dialogue brought me into the game and allowed me to get to the first screen after the intro. Clicking "connect" just gives you an endless spinning circle.

audio switched to wrong output when playing (handsfree)
Using game scope due to 4k external monitor causes the mouse cursor to not work. Added a parameter for gamescope. witout gamescope it works fine

A few years ago, I had made a report that the game didn't work due to the EAC, but today I tested it and played for 1 hour and didn't have any problems.
It doesn't start
After EAC loading, it stops.
With the latest patch the game is working again

Crash when loading past EAC.
Game crashes once EAC has loaded. Game opens briefly as a white fullscreen for 1-2 seconds before crashing.
Tested on multiple distros: Debian12 - Nobara - Manjaro. Various Proton versions was used across all distros, nothing seems to work better or worse. The issue persists exactly the same.

first my mouse and keyboard didn't work, I had to switch game window and return and it worked perfectly.
overall the game is very close to CS:GO.
Out of box, game crashes upon any interaction, this doesn't not change with switching proton versions. No other compatability tricks used, I don't know em :P
Runs perfectly but requires Proton EasyAntiCheat runtime to be installed first. library-->search-->proton EasyAntiCheat

While keyboard and mouse works in menus, rarely when starting an online game, keyboard and mouse do not respond to inputs. I solved it by alt+tab, minimizing desktop windows and then alt+tab back to the game and then everything works perfectly. It is very rare and random though and I haven't found out why it is happening.

Change to borderless did not work
You need to install Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime in your libary
it can happen that some models or texture from object will not be loaded but its really rare
no further Configuration needed works out of the box! im Currently using ProtonGE-50
EAC doesnt work and the devs dont seem to be willing to enable linux support.
Devs dont find enabling proton support viable.
