Added friends through the codes provided in game, played rounds in multiple game modes, and I've interacted with people in the public arcade lobby with zero issues.
crashes on startup
Microphone didn’t work at first. I had to implement the workaround from https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamVR-for-Linux/issues/215 I also had to disable simultaneous output of PulseAudio (and upgrade Ubuntu to 22.10, which uses PipeWire)
The right stick does not detect anything in the up-left quarter. I have to move it to lower-left to turn left.
Some lag if I push the settings too high. Complete freeze and crash of the headset if I enable anti-aliasing. It is very difficult to reset this setting afterwards, I couldn’t find a settings file so I had to do it with the headset crashing upon start, with a frozen angle to view the menu on screen.
Going back to the hub fails about 50% of the time. I get in the small room before entering the hub, and it stays "connecting to hub". Launching a run also fails maybe 30% of the time after the first game, which usually brings me back to the hub (often triggering the above bug).
I occasionally see zombies teleport, especially if I’m not party leader. There is also some lag with the microphone, I don’t know if it’s on my side or my friend’s.

Playable on low/medium settings with my 2060 using SteamVR Beta.
Needed to use this in combo with SteamVR beta to get VR working without any problems https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamVR-for-Linux/blob/master/README.md

On the 7.03 Valve Proton, the game ran very poorly, switching to the GE version fixed the perfomance issues. Also I have to run the game on "Low" settings even with GE
It will crash to VR Home about 30% of the time when switching levels. Either loading a new run or returning back to the Hub, anytime there's a loading screen basically.
Sometimes, it will get stuck loading either the other players or the hub it self. It will just 'spin' forever saying connecting to X
It's pretty rough around the edges, but I think with some time updating Proton and the VR software itself it should be better in the future.
Played 3 missions (2 hours) online with a friend without any issues.
The only issue made starting a new session annoying. I see no critical issues at this time.
The game failed to rejoin the lobby at some point. I could not restart the game without restarting SteamVR. Restarting SteamVR restored the expected functionality.
It works out of the box.

launched sometimes but crashed shortly after
Tried around with different proton versions. Proton experimental actually launched the game, let me choose difficulty and let me do first few settings. game froze shortly after though

Works effortlessly, just install and go
Setting the refresh rate to 80 Hz reduced the graphical artifacts significantly
