PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Needs params PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
to get sound
Played with Proton 9.0-4 and params PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
.

No input at all in game
To fix the input and sound not working use the 4.11-13 version of Proton.
Some Proton versions have issues with audio or mouse input. Experimental seems to work though. If you decide to use Proton 4.11-13, be aware that it does not support the widescreen patch.

On Proton version 4.11-13 and older, the mouse does not work in the menus, so you need to bind arrow keys, space or enter, and the escape key to navigate them.
Save data is deleted when the game is uninstalled. No Steam Cloud support.
In-game audio will not work on any Proton version more recent than 4.11-13.

No sound with proton versions after 3.7
No 1280x800 resolution or 6:10 option
Works
Game has no window mode.
Played with Proton 6.3-8
not a single audio yeah i dont think it will be fun with out it
not a single audio when on menu
Added PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
to launch options. This was necessary for audio to work in the game.
Mouse did not work with in-game menus, but could be navigated with keyboard. Gameplay not impacted in any other way.
Occasional crashes, but this is normal on the Windows port as well. They get less frequent as the game goes on.

Played with Proton 5.0-7 and command params PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
No 90 minutes limit - played more 2 hours.

As above, just works. Doesnt support anything higher than 1024x768 (but think thats an engine issue, not Steam or Proton).

89 minutes to be exact, then the game crashed. Seemed to work fine up until then.

Tested single player mode. Works fine.
