This game, on the Steam Deck at least, seems like it should be marked as Verified or Platinum.
Set FPS to 40
Hopefully I didn't get anything wrong. This is my first report and time using Linux, and a Steam Deck.
Laggy at loading points when using this version of Proton
Submitted another report earlier today, but I absolutely had to go down the list of Proton versions until I found one that didn't cause me to crash when certain circumstances were met. All newer versions of Proton cause me to crash when I'm near the monster truck in Throttleville and when my character/the camera is close to the bucking bull and show your strength games. I also could not play the tank frenzy game, barring me from full completion of one of the parks. This version of Proton is laggy at times, but I'm able to play without worrying about crashing. Other option is to finish off what would normally make me crash, then switch back to Experimental for less lag to play the rest of the game.
Impressively stable considering I didn't have to do really anything at all.
In game mouse acceleration doesn't line up with where my cursor actually is, leading to me clicking out of the game quite often during mini-games.
I have to avoid the big monster truck in Throttleville, as it is guaranteed to crash my game anytime I go near it.
Set the graphics lower when in the game's main menu.
If you do not tinker the game will shut down as soon as you start moving your character.
Game runs fine, i suffered minor lag when the graphic quality was maxed out, it's best to tune it all the way down to fix it (game did crash once)
Overall this game will play nicesly as long as you pre config the graphics quulity to 0% and using Proton 8.0
Severe issues out of the box, but the launch command fixed the 3D render problems and Proton GE got the cutscenes playing proper.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Once you use the launch command and a good version of proton GE the game is flawless. Newest version of proton (at the time) didn't work, but PROTON-6.21-GE-2 was perfect
Works near-perfectly once code is inserted in launch options, apart from cutscenes not working.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Cutscene audio was silent, apart from the intro cutscene.
Heavy artifacting & frequent crashes without launch option used.
Jumped constantly between 35-45 FPS on the highest graphics setting. Lower settings gave a solid 60.
Cutscenes appear as a glitched texture, apart from the intro cutscene.
Despite running Wine's D3d11 implementation, the game can nearly be pushed to 1440p at the game's 100 fps cap on even modern iGPUs
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Running the game with DXVK results major persistent artifacts. Fixed by using Wine's D3d11 implementation.
Crashes within 1 minute of gameplay
Crashes consistently

Doesn't display anything, starts but nothing loads.

Game still crashes on startup, no errors, no nothing.

Game crashes immediately at startup

The game is playable, but if playing with a mouse, the camera will not move occasionally and cutscenes will not play,only skip.

Game ran without issue, though expect cutscenes to be automatically skipped

Runs as smooth as can be.

Works very well, no issues so far.
