Just works

Was able to opt into the open beta, install and play with 0 issues including multiplayer.

Works out of the box just fine
Works out of the box on default Proton. Better performance with Proton-GE
Game have problems RAM and VRAM usage, for me it floats around 12GB VRAM (max) and 12GB RAM on Ultra settings, same usage reported by my friends on windows in same coop game

Windows has the same bugs when controlling the troops
It crashes quite often and has some bugs which is the case on windows as well

Runs okay
Occasional fps drops
Other than the occasional fps drops (not recurrent) its perfectly playable

Haven't tested the multiplayer.
I've added the launch argument just in case, no idea if there is any difference without.

added dx dll as sugested by other comments
game to beplayed with keyboard and mouse
playable in low but quite ugly
did work only in desktop mode

The game has greatly improved. The current build works right out of the box.
It seems all the issues listed in my older report have been fixed. Both multiplayer and singleplayer run perfectly.

protontricks 400750 vcrun2022
Was unplayable due to frequent crashing in the middle of sessions, fixed after installing vcrun2022
through protontricks
.
Note that the game does not run cleanly off of 16GB of RAM and will require additional swap space, higher graphics settings will directly influence the minimum amount of RAM + swap required, notably the texture resolution setting.
Tried Proton 6.3-8 as other reports have suggested, but the game was hitching heavily and was performing worse than when using Proton 8.0-5, had no issues with multiplayer with either version.

Game crashed on Proton Expermental when playing campaign. Switched to an older Proton worked flawless. I run an Ultrawide, and I play in windowed mode so I do have to re-drag it to my center window snap point or it starts in a smaller window every start in the upper left corner. Works great though so far, in singleplayer. Have not played multiplayer yet.

Does not work
Tried serval proton versions without success. Game starts until main menu but crashed after starting a singleplayer game or attempt to join a multiplayer session.

Have to manually move game to primary monitor everytime I leave and return to game.
I recommend the game.

The game works, though not perfectly. There are some functionality and performance issues in regards to multiplayer.
The game has some performance issues given my hardware, though it's not clear if it's just bad optimization or a Linux-specific problem.
It's not possible to host a multiplayer session, the game will just report "Connection Failed". You can however join other lobbies and play online this way. There are some minor UI-issues.

Some stutters after the game loaded
Everything works just fine.

Turning the water quality past low causes the game to crash when rendering water.
Game crashes when opening the multiplayer lobby. Hosting a co-op dynamic conquest game fails to create the server.
Multiplayer borked from Liberation update.

Multiplayer no longer works as of December. The game crashes when hosting or joining a game.

Multiplayer crashes immediately
crashes to desktop immediately

Cannot host an online game
I cannot host a game.

Works great
I've been playing singleplayer missions with mods for couple of hours and didn't encounter any problems.

installed d3dcompiler_42, d3dx11_43, d3dx11_42.
One of those fixes crashes in singleplayer missions.
Play this docked, this would be very small on the deck.
The game has 2 crash problems, both can be fixed.
Random crash after a few minutes of gameplay in singleplayer missions. You can fix this by adding dx11 .dlls in winetricks. I used SteamTinkerLaunch to install d3dcompiler_42, d3dx11_43, and d3dx11_42 and one of them did the trick.
Crash on load on any skirmish or dynamic campaign battles. You can fix this by increasing the Deck's swap file size. I did this with CryoUtilities, which you can find on github. I increased mine to 16G and this fixed the crash.

Там находятся все сохранения и настройки игры) из /home//.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/400750/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/my games/ Это значительно сократит количество падений
alt-tabbing out of the game sometimes locks gpu utilization to 100%. Fixed by restarting.

Game sometimes crashes with either texture errors or memory alloction issues
Chat in multiplayer lobbies doesnt work for me. It only shows my os file structure

runs out of the box...

Runs without issues out of the box

Notable studdering in conquest. Tried none of the other modes.
Crashed during Conquest mode with Proton Experimental. GE Proton did not crash, but lagged heavily.
GE Proton causes significant FPS Studdering in Conquest. Forced Expermintal Proton has slightly less of the same problem GEProton does.

Lag in "Conquest Mode"
Crashes on launching conquest mode in Proton 7, Conquest works with GE, but laggs
Conquest works with Glorious Eggroll's fork, but laggs badly
The game works right out of the box. There are some very minor UI glitches in a few menus.
Runs great. As far as I could tell there was no issues that weren't the game's bugs. Played for 4 hours.
The game has bugs that cause crashes even in windows ever few hours.

When entering multiplayer section of the main menu, I can't see some parts of the UI
When entering multiplayer section of the main menu, I can't see some parts of the UI, for example, I can't see chat window, can't post messages to the chat. But I can see the list of matches, I can join a match lobby, but I can't see most of the UI in the particular match lobby: can't see match settings, can't see players list, can't see chat, can't see "ready" button, in other words: the UI is broken for multiplayer part of the game. Same issues with Call to Arms. I tried another Linux distro - Manjaro, with different DE: mate, xfce, plasma; tried different kernel versions, different versions of nvidia drivers, I tried many Proton versions, incl. the Proton-GE - same issues. I see that other players can play both of these games, why can't I? I looked the log files and couldn't find any clues. I would really appreciate any suggestions.

Runs fine, with one crash during my 2 hours of play (autosave saved the day).
Voice-over during cutscenes does not work, subtitles do though.
