Playable but has issues
Background videos do not work on default Proton, and the game is laggy unless I turn down the resolution. Proton GE fixes the videos but tanks the performance to the point that it's not really playable.

works out of the box without any issues
only issues encountered - video and audio stutters when CPU was under load (unrelated to the game)

Input issues fixed in May 1st patch. Everything works out of the box now.

__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command%
before 2025-05-01, key input not worked on in-game. after update, key input is working now.

PLATiNA :: LAB is working out of the box
Last update (01/05/2025) fixed the input issue on linux. The game works out of the box, rhythm game is now actually playable.
More testing ongoing but first tracks run smoothly

Key input not works on in-game.
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command%
key input only works on menu, not on in-game.

The entire rhythm game, minus the rhythm game, functions.
Using the default Proton settings as decided by Steam, the game boots. Keybindings are usable and menus can be navigated through. Inputs are not detected during rhythm game play (after song selection). Reproduced on GE-Proton9-27, and Proton versions 7.0-6 through 9.0-. Occasional inputs were successful when Protontricks was used to change OS version to win8.1, but not enough to facilitate gameplay.

Enjoyable if you like listening songs and watching characters. You wanna play? Nope.
Video playback is lagging and sometimes black artifacts appear.
It gets no input from keyboard while playing. All I can do is watching every notes get Miss. Escape key doesn't work, couldn't even get out until the song is over. When not playing, for example in the menu, keyboard works just fine.
Maybe the devs had made non-standard ways to get keyboard input for minimum latency, which made some issues on Proton.
