Some in game text is small, but are very crisp so are relatively easy to read.
Controls work as intended, but are a bit awkward to play effectively with Joystick as mouse. Trackpad fares a bit better.
Lag in loading menus. Steam Forum players mention that the game may 'phone home' via Internet, causing delays
Works as intended, albeit with lagged response in some moments. Ironcast requires the player to drag gems one by one with the mouse, which doesn't work perfectly with the joystick, but more acceptably with the trackpad.

Must use the Steam Deck system zoom function to read some text easier.
Game tends to have small lags in mouse cursor movement and animations. Like processing is interrupted for a very short period. Still playable, but annoying. Quit and restart of the game seems to help, for some time, until it happens again.

Just read my whole report here and do the required steps at the right time - and everything should be fine. Great game, b.t.w.!
[] Left Trackpad
[] As mousewheel ( to be able to scroll text inside text panels)
[] Back Grip Buttons
[] R5 = System: Toggle Zoom (for easier reading of texts of small font sizes.)

All texts are legible. But, without using the zoom function of the Steam Deck, your eyes might hurt over time. Mine did. So, I am using that zoom function (mapped to back grip button R5). Works OK for me.
Switching from Proton regular version to experimental resulted in loss of my save game and in-game settings (options)! So, make sure to switch to Proton experimental before starting the play the game for real!
At first, I used the regular current version of Proton (7.0-4) and the game regularly showed short lags during animations. That's why I switched to Proton experimental. Seems to fix that issue.
Out of the box, the game will be playable OK. But, the very little adaptions, as described above, are well worth the effort!
