Native is completely borked, it just crashes almost immediately on launch.

After installing the game set the correct GE proton version (Installed through ProtonUP-QT) in the game settings ("Wine Version"), start the game in Desktop Mode the first time because it will open an epic game store page on your browser where you need to click accept. Otherwise you will only see a black screen.
After that it will start without any problem on Gaming Mode.

In the Heroic Games Lanucher, the game does not start properly with any proton version. I tried native, included proton versions from 7-9 and even tried GE-Proton, tried installing EOS. Game always launches into a black fullscreen. Twice i was able to hear the sound of the game while having the black screen. I am not sure what else anybody could try at this point.

Using the Epic version of the game I got a black screen and game would not load until I enabled EOS Overlay in Heroic. Also game would only start with GE Proton.

No issues whatsoever
Runs natively with no tinkering

changed the controls to mimic console minecraft with the left trackpad as a menu for less used actions
Do not install the game to an sd card the game stutters a lot when on sd card but not when installed on the internal drive
On initial launch, the browser was loaded in the background to link Epic and Infinifactory.
Steam Deck controller was unrecognized. I had to use keyboard and mouse instead.
Inability to launch via Steam Deck's game mode. Had to launch via Steam Deck's desktop mode.

Native version is completely broken in Wayland. Proton experimental runs fine.

Runs fine in Desktop mode. Issues running in game mode via Heroic. Suggest running with Steam Runtime setting disabled to play via game mode
Shift/Ctrl/Space/R on back buttons. Q/E on shoulder buttons. L2/R2 as left/right click, left joystick as WASD.
Epic games version: Sometimes loads a black screen - game runs fine second try, if this happens. Installs fine via Heroic and Lutris but didn't run reliably via Lutris. Recommend Heroic with Steam Runtime disabled, latest Proton-GE and VSync/ESync enabled. No issues in desktop mode and plays fine with kb+m. Desktop mode without kb+m is a pain due to controller settings but easier to configure in desktop mode if you get it running fine (add to Steam from Heroic and disable steam runtime). Check your steam shortcut command in Konsole to see if there are errors if it doesn't load from game mode.

It was impossible to launch this game using Heroic Launcher. Always gave a black screen. The only way that worked for me was: First created new bottle in Bottles app (Win64 - Gaming - Proton GE-Proton8-27). Then installed Epic Games Launcher in this Bottles app. Then installed Infinifactory via this Epic Games Launcher app in the Bottle. Infinifactory will ask to connect to your Epic Games Launcher profile. Accept the connection. Then the game will work out of the box without issues. My gaming "Bottle" in Bottles only contains 2 programs: Epic Games Launcher and Infinifactory
Played the last two chapters completely on Linux. Didn't have any issues at all.
The second to last level became very laggy at x20 input speed but I think that's on the game. It's by far the highest input multiplier I've seen in any level and I had to use a LOT of blocks, so I don't think it's a platform specific issue.

Again a native Linux game that runs worse than the Windows version.
The Linux versions opens on the wrong monitor without any way to fix it.
The Proton version runs without problems.
