My report is specific to the 9070XT GPU and Arch Linux.
Prior to a recent kernel and Mesa update (as of 10/6/25), this game would show major shadow artifacts, with all shadows displaying incorrectly. I suspect other users with this graphics card and older kernal versions and mesa drivers might see the same graphical artifacts.
After today's update, the shadow artifacts seems to have been resolved and the game plays as expected. This is from early level testing so issues might crop up later, but so far running as expected and looking good.

Freezes almost immediately after hovering over any options on the main menu.
I have gotten it to work on a couple of occasions, but now it reliably fails in this way. Disabling VK_KHR_present_wait (or using the newest 575 driver) doesn't appear to help, nor does using a different proton runtime. When it did run, it was noticeably somewhat stuttery but was playable; unfortunate that it is not working for me at this time.

Riddled with bugs and crashes
Audio crackles loudly when teleporting between maps
Some extreme artifacting happens when enabling full ray-tracing. It does not happen with partial RT.
Crashes all the time when teleporting or finishing all the puzzles of an area. I am now locked in world B area 1 because teleporting back from it freezes the game.

Heavy geometry artifacts flying across the screen, drags int othe centor.
Turning off the Gemoetory Detail onto "Lowest", solved the issue.
Since I'm using RX 9070 XT onto cheap crappy aging Motherboard, and due to lack of Resizeable Bar, or just purely immature support of Mesa/RADV for 9070 XT causing the issue on mine.

The water flickers close to the horizon

Shows DirextX error on start
The game only displays a message box with the following text and fails to start:
"DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument."

hedious flickerling.
Fixed by updating the system by "sudo pacman -Syu"
Not sure I would recommend over original to be honest. Graphics upgrades are rather bit too subtle, when the original looks still good.
Only get this version if your language didn't had Road to Gehenna translation.

White screen and freeze after choosing campaign
The main menu works just fine, but when selecting the campaign (any of the three: main/gehenna/before) and the save slot, the screen goes white, and the loading icon (spinner) stops spinning after a second or two, and the game goes unresponsive. After a minute or two, it crashes and pops up the crash report program.
Works great, no tweaks needed.
Works perfectly
Runs great out of the box. No stutters, everything works including DLSS FG.

Game would crash on Proton 9.0-4 shortly after entering the game from the menu.

Works great
Just install and play
After pressing new game (demo), white screen, sounds of seagulls, the spinner stops spinning and nothing happens.

(Steam Next Fest Demo) There's minor issue with 7900 XTX setup
The Sea on Custom Level looks bit flickerling with black.
The Sea Will Claim Everything... sorry.
The Game is really demanding on my 7900 XTX once changed the setting to higher than one I used on my ROG Ally. It's playable, but not as pretty as Talos Principle 2.
I guess there's so little it could have done to improve the graphics when the orginal already looks pretty.

(Steam Next Fest Demo) Works out of the box (ROG Ally)
The game works fine on my ROG Ally Z1 Extreme with Bazzite on it. 1440p, Low Setting with Mid Texture, FSR Balanced to achive 30fps. It's okay I guess.
I think my 7900 XTX main PC works better, but I can't access right now.
