Install wininet with winetricks or protontricks, doesn't work without it.
Install wininet and play.

protontricks 261760 wininet
and launch options (these may not really be needed, but I'm using them):
AMD_VULKAN_ICD=RADV PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 RADV_PERFTEST=nggc mesa_glthread=true gamemoderun %command%
see launch options above
always crashes on load if not using protontricks wininet.
Run protontricks 261760 wininet from terminal.
Would immediately crash when beginning a new game; installing wininet via protontricks fixed the issue and everything now runs smoothly.
Can get to the menu, but attempting to play or resume results in a crash. Would be great if it could run on the deck.
Game boots and detects inputs, but upon starting a new game, will display the load screen to a very small box and then crash.

wininet or whatever it is that proton tricks suggests for you. Absolutely required.
First game I've tried that required I used protontricks, but it absolutely fixes the issue.
Install wininet with winetricks
Had to use "protontricks 261760 wininet" to get it past the menu. I also had to initially start into proton 5.0, then run protontricks to get around an "access denied" error. I was able to switch back to 6.3.6 after that.
protontricks 261760 wininet
protontricks 261760 wininet
Had installed the game on secondary ntfs drive. This caused very high cpu usage, resulting in very low (~20fps) framerates with many frame drops. Fixed by moving to an ext4 partition.
Requires wininet installation via protontricks 261760 wininet to fix the crash

I installed wininet via Winetricks. Without it the game would crash when hitting new game.
Requires wininet installation via protontricks 261760 wininet
to fix the crash(reported by others) when starting the game.

Black screen when starting a new game.

Trying disable esync, disable D3D11 (not even starting without D3D11), use wine D3D11. Menu is working very good, render on bottom of menu also. Game crashes when to trying start a "new game".

The game starts and you are able to access the menu but I was unable to start a new game as it crashes before it fully loads.

Same as the others, it crashes once you try to start playing :Ü™

Looks great till the menu the crashes with a runtime error

Game runs in the main menu. Everything works. But when you try to start a game mid loading screen it crashes.
