Fog shader broken in Native build - run with Proton to fix
The game can be played with the Native build but a few levels use a fog shader that is broken on Native. The broken shader (pink color) causes some nodes on those levels to be hidden making them very difficult / impossible to complete.

The ridge 1 was purple underneath
could not use touchscreen (unintuitive, but also inaccurate; taps should go to existing nearby element if <1 spot away, not the exact place tapped), it was extremely annoying to be forced into using the gamepad
I didn't play past the ridge 1, the game gets too hard for my lazy brain
Run native without any tinker
The default Steam Play compatibility tool for my comp (GE-Proton7-16) worked fine with the exception of the lowest area of a few maps having a texture failure (pink-fill area). This was only a real problem in "Tiltin North's Bridge 4" (slopemania extension) where it hid the bottom's fixation point and the finish area.
Switching to "proton experimental" fixed that display issue.
Launching with the default Steam Proton caused some textures not to be loaded (mainly problematic with the fog that stops you from viewing some connection points.) Also had crashes while playing the add on levels.
