Game is fully playable from startup. All you need to do for now is to choose Protone Experimental and lower GFX settings to minimum.
lowest GFX settings with FSR (bulided in game) + FPS CAP (depends what you prefer 30-40fps or even 48fps - more stable fps or more smooth but with fps drops sometimes)
TEXT_RES_DISCONNECT_REASON_047(47)
The game ran fine untill yesterday, some serverside maintance was done, and since then you can get up to the character select, and sometimes you can get all the way into the game, for everything to be frozen and you get kicked out a couple of seconds later. Either getting the: TEXT_RES_DISCONNECT_REASON_047(47) or some like world server disconnected error.
before that, the game ran fine with no issues (other then the cutscenes not working with proton GE 9-10, this was fixed by running GE 9-9) but since the maintance it seems no one with linux is getting in, looking at the discord thread.
Disconnected with 'TEXT_RES_DISCONNECT_REASON_047(47)'.
Might be EAC-related as it worked flawlessly from the 19th through the 22nd before I left around noon CET. I haven't been able to get in since :(
I can open the game, select 'Enter' then 'Start Game' on the character selection screen. Immediately after, it disconnects with 'TEXT_RES_DISCONNECT_REASON_047(47)'.
Additionally, I tried again just now, got in for a few seconds just to get disconnected with a WorldServer connection error, followed by more of the 47 error.

Works great, cant use 9-10 or proton experimental due to bug. stick to 9-9. works great
gamemoderun DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Aside from GE-Proton9-9
, you probably don't need to tinker this game.
:
There's currently a bug affecting Proton Experimental
and GE-Proton9-10
causing the cutscene videos to not play, so you should stick with GE-Proton9-9
. If you've already ran the game using a different version of Proton, you may need to validate files for the cutscenes to work (I needed to anyway).
gamemoderun DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Cutscenes are just black. Audio plays fine, but the video itself sits on black for the duration.
Launch options are probably not necessary. Runs fine with both Proton Experimental
and GE-Proton9-10
. Wish I could figure out the missing videos though.

limited fps to 40 in QAM
Text, UI and Icons sometimes a bit small on Steam Deck even on the larest in-game settngs
I hope this game keeps EAC support for linux enabled in the full version. Seems like a fun new mmorpg to sink some hours into.
Borderless windowed still trapped the mouse.
Mild performance issues, but overall fine. Hoping the release includes EAC libraries for Linux.
