https://github.com/nuggslet/MGSM2Fix required for fullscreen
Played with MGSM2Fix which allowed fullscreen. Tinkered a lot with .ini files for the first few hours before settling on playing with default resolution scaling due to weird graphical glitches that occured (not an issue with game itself just expermental "fixes" with the mod) Game played great.

Used MGSM2Fix.
It's a fun game, and it works really good.

besides fullscreen not working it's a smooth experience
Finished the full game without any issues (besides the game not being able to run in full screen, which all the other games from the collection do fine), but that's actually not such a big problem, as the playstation graphics wouldn't really look too good if scaled up even more (the window was 1080p, my actual display resolution is 1440p).

Fullscreen dosent work without mods. Install MGSM2Fix and edit ini file. Change borderless to true

Works good enough if you don't mind not playing in fullscreen.
When I pressed Alt+Enter, it would not go into fullscreen.
Game crashes upon launching. Tried Proton GE and Experimental

Game works windowed without issues
I was unable to activate fullscreen. It's possible to force it with gamescope, but since gamescope is bugged I had force reboot my PC after using it if I wanted to launch the game again.
Absolutely no issues on my end other than the fullscreen not working, played through the game with a dualsense.
Note that after saving, you need to open up the emulator's menu (L1+R1, or E+M on keyboard) for the save to register (you will see the exclamation mark top right), after that you can Alt+F4 if you want, or quit normally. If you don't open up that menu after saving and you Alt+F4, the saves will not sync with the emulator and will be lost on next reboot.

After Switching to Full screen need to reboot game or the game repeatedly minimises and maximizes
Game Runs like it would on your PSOne with no Emulator Tweaks that Includes the Switching of the confirm and cancel buttons the OG game had. Get the GOG Version if you want a PC version of Metal Gear Solid 1 over this.

Runs fine.
poor mouse and keyboard support (reasonable), no option to remap controller menu accept/return buttons to the western standard leading to slight annoyances
While in the current status it is low resolution, being 240p in a 1080p window, it is fully playable

Its in a very weird and rough state right now, and is less playable than it was on the PSP.

Game gets confused about window vs fullscreen state quite easily
Heavy audio issues and slowdown
Heavy slowdown is present, which is odd for what is a PS1 emulator on a system more than capable of running it. It felt as though the game was running at half speed.
