Runs perfectly out of the box
Had no issues playing online with a friend for an extended amount of time.

Seems to run well
The first time I launched it, the screen stayed black, but afterwards I had no issues.

Instalar y jugar
Espere como un minuto como maximo en encontrar partida. El online va excelente y no tuve problema con el Anticheat

EAC is a little broken, but works after attempting to join a game once per session.

After ~80 matches played. Its been rock solid experience. No crashes, no performance problems. Rare times when i launch the game and try to queue to the first match i get EAC error. But requeing makes it work. Happens very rarely though. 2560x1440, Epic Settings, DLSS quality, motion blur off. 100-150 fps.

After the most recent Patch, I'm getting hit with EAC
EAC Prevents Matchmaking

Ignore my previous report. It seems the message about being kicked from a match due to EAC problem just happens with the first time trying. Developers on their discord responded to that issue and said they are aware of that and are looking into it. They advised to just queue again and the issue should go away then.

Easy Anticheat doesnt seem to get installed correctly.
Need to manually engage the EAC install. Basically selecting the prefix as first line. Then pointing to proton-experimental and then the location to EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe with the install parameters from the *.cmd file
WINEPREFIX="/mnt/nvmedrive/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/2078450/pfx" "/mnt/SSDGames/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Proton - Experimental/files/bin/wine" "/mnt/nvmedrive/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/WHSF1/EasyAntiCheat/EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" install 38173d91a96e44c1ad2d5d5175847461

its borked :(

I managed to fix EAC by doing the following in terminal:
WINEPREFIX="/home/chillsmeit/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2078450/pfx" "/home/chillsmeit/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton - Experimental/files/bin/wine" "/home/chillsmeit/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/WHSF1/EasyAntiCheat/EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" install 38173d91a96e44c1ad2d5d5175847461
To explain what I did, I basically selected the default game prefix, then the wine binary for the proton experimental and then the EAC setup included in the game files.
"38173d91a96e44c1ad2d5d5175847461"
is listed inside Steam/steamapps/common/WHSF1/EasyAntiCheat/InstallEasyAntiCheat.cmd, for future reference in case it changes.
If it doesn't work, try and validate your files afterwards.

Using Poton 9.0-3
EAC Prevents Matchmaking, Can install, launch, browse menus, but can't actually play a match.

Alguns elementos são menores que o ideal, mas é completamente jogável e não chega a causar desconforto.

EAC Prevents Matches from Loading
Game launches but as soon as you try to load into a match, you are met with an EAC error message.
Same issue as Verminitide 2.

Game Launches - EAC Prevents playing
Game launches fine. Easy Anti-Cheat prevents match from loading, instantly booted.

Lowering settings will improve fps and battery further

no tinkering involved, just protonge9-11

It runs out of the box, tinker with graphical settings for longer battery and enjoy. Gamepad is supported so no need to mess with layout.
I changed ingame setting to medium across the board, On the deck i capped FPS to 45
Little tinkering for battery only, smooth experience all around. Any stutter/lag so far from loading screens but playing with others on high end computers. Its the norm right now, docked or handheld its awesome on the deck.

Lower settings to medium and you're good.

Once it is out of Beta Im sure the crashes will be fixed. But this is a realy fun steam deck game
It always crashes so bad on around my second match, that my OS crashes. Throws me back to the Login just crazy.

if you have a better pc its probably good
i meet the minumum system requirements, have all settings on the lowest possible setting and both hitting enemies at all and not driving into a wall is pure gambling
it crashed(?) once when i died (screen frozen, but sound, etc still worked) and i had to restart
its an alpha so maybe some/most things are game and not proton side

Runs flawlessly right out of the box if you ask me. No problems at all so far and as far i can tell it runs better than on my Windoze PC although that is probably due to the difference in hardware

I was able to install and launch the game without any problems, and play a few games without any problems either. The game doesn't run as smoothly as it does under Windows, but a quick trip to the graphics settings was enough for me to get a nice, fluid game.

mangohud gamemoderun %command%
Very smooth on Linux Mint 22!

uses easy anti cheat. I can join matches but get kicked after a while

gamemoderun %command%
Seemed to run fine but would be kicked back to menu after no more than about a minute of play, every time.

Works great out of the box.
Tested in public beta.
some rubberbanding and bugs but it's beta
Studdering and mouse input issues. seems to be problematic with people on windows too
Works with steam proton 8, 7, 6.

The game is fully playable and is a blast to play as stated in my other report. The default control layout for the Deck is a little weird.
Sometimes Audio Cuts out, This is an issue with the game currently not Proton
Default Control Layout is a little goofy to get used to at first
Hopefully no goofy anticheat stuff after Alpha because it runs well and is pretty fun to play

Occassionally Effects Audio would cut out. I think this is probably the game and not a Linux issue.
Super Fun, Performance was great. Going to Test on the Steam Deck tonight.

Proton Experimental crashed when joining online game, switched to Proton 8.0-2, had no further issues.
GTX 970 might not be powerful enough to run the game at 120fps+ constant, occasional dips down to ~20fps, unreleated to proton most likely, just an older video card.
