Just works
The Steam store page does not list requirements for Linux/SteamOS but it's a native build. Works perfectly out of the box using keyboard and mouse as input.

External Controller did not work properly. It was impossible to walk. Looking around, navigate menus all worked fine. But no way to properly play it. With the Steam Deck internal controller everything was fine.
Playing in docked mode with external controller is impossible

Some of the options on the menu, like resolution and volume, cannot be selected with gamepad controls. You'll need to temporarily map mouse bindings to adjust them.
Simply ran the game through Proton instead of Native and it works perfectly (at least on the Steam Deck).
The font is a little small but it's generally fully readable (if you squint just a bit).
Can't conviniently switch back to Native Resolution (800p) from a different resolution.
I managed to get back to Native (800p) by first being on 1024x768 or lower and then choosing 1280x720p which puts me back to 1280x800p.
You have to do this via Mouse Input.
I think the game looks nicer if you use FSR at 1152x720p (most likely not true but whatevs).
I don't see any benefits from lowering the resolution to save battery life.
I would only save you like 1watt.
Game does not seem to take any input at the initial menu. The mouse cursor can be moved around, but cannot progress further.

Game works native and on Proton out of the box, it is an OpenGL game.
