Some characters with spawning elements (like Rocko and Spunky/Jackhammer) stop spawning after a random amount of uses.
Missing inputs, slight slowdown.

Patch 1.3 v1 has fixed the frame rate, pacing, and other inconsistencies making for a smooth expereince on Steam Deck
Fps dips for a second during the start of the match, and when a character spawns an item for the first time per match such as Goddard, jack hammer, etc. (Relevant on regular PC version as well.)

Now runs at a smooth 90FPS at medium settings on OLED without any tinkering. Currently still no Steam cloud support, using Syncthing to sync my save between PC and Deck.

After tinkering, it works fine on steam deck, but others in my local community cannot get it running. Try at your own risk.

Despite the game's implementation of winusb, it does not function with the first party nintendo gamecube adapter.
Tons of stuttering BEFORE applying a launch option fix. None afterwards.
Stuttering
I have to play at the lowest settings to achieve 60FPS despite the game not being that demanding. Occasional framerate stutters are present.

Settings menu has difficult to read text
Certain attacks would cause stutters. Lots of loading stutters at the start of a match.
While the game is playable, input delay, bad frame time, and some stutters make this not a pleasent experience on the Deck. This could be fixed with updates as the game is new. Played on version 1.2

Very few particle effects are boxes instead of smoke.
Controller profiles and story mode saves sometimes disappeared on new launch
Choppy 50-60fsp along with bad frame pacing
Casually may be fine for some, but having constant fps dips in a fighting game is difficult to look over. All in-game settings result in around 50-60fps rare dips into 45's under certain circumstances.

Game runs flawlessly
Game works flawlessly

game runs relatively well but is still choppy, will likely get better over time as patches drop
game runs at ~58 fps rather than 60, lots of stuttering (assuming due to building shader cache, may clear up over time)
