The walking bug mentioned by other users before me would be fixed with players having Steam Input enabled or playing with Mouse and Keyboard which I would assume is the majority of players.

Using Proton 9.0, there is a bug at a point in the game where you should be able to move, but you can't. I had to downgrade to Proton 8 to resolve it.
