Works Great out the box.
on rare occasions EAC pops up and closes instantly and the game doesnt boot., simple re launch usually runs fine.
On rare occasions. EAC seems not to init properly. stays in a playing state but the game doesnt boot. simply restarting the game fixes it. ( happened twice after about 10 times playing it)

i had to play this game using directx 11 (dxvk) instead of directx 12 (vkd3d) since the game would get stuck in the loading screen. i had to use proton-ge-8-26 to fix audio going silent.

Broken by Easy Anti Cheat
At some point in early 2024 EAC was introduced which makes it impossible to launch in Proton/Wine

On default proton (8.0-4 at time of writng) the game doesn't progress past the steam deck logo throbber, changing to GE fixed this and allowed the game to work as intended

Does not work anymore
Game was working fine through Proton at its launch, but one of the recent updates seem to have broke it. Now a quick Easy Anti-Cheat pop-up will appear and the game will crash before it even opens.

Eac screen pops up, Game trys to open game window and closes
Not currently running on pop os, Down the line with update maybe!

Doesn't work at all.
The game displays an EAC window, and opens however a second later, it crashes.

Works out of the box, no tweaks or fixed needed

Works flawlessly on SteamOS / HoloISO
blank screen as match starts

Some textures in Road to Elite pop in and out in quick succession and then they don't for the rest of the cutscene.
It didn't start up at first. I assumed it was a proton issue unlike the other reports, so I started it up with Proton 8.0-2. It was slow to boot up, but outside of that, it runs perfectly.

Works perfectly with Proton!
At first, the game would crash if I started it with my PS5 controller connected. No problems if I connected if after reaching the Main Menu. As of now, I am not seeing the issue anymore and everything is perfect.
Except for that initial controller issue, the game played perfectly right out of the box. I wasn't able to test the Multiplayer mode since I wasn't able to find any opponents, but I don't think this is linked to Proton itself.

i used an external Controller, the 8bito Ultimate 2,4Ghz and need to switch from x-input toi d-input to select the menu
At first launch the game wanted to connect to Epic online Service, i dont know why, but after that it launches without any issues
The game works great so far on the Steam deck! There are a few glitches in the graphics in the game, but I think that's more due to the game and not the performance of the Steam deck.

The only odd behavior was I had to stop the game after the first launch installed everything and launch it again to get the game to open.

The game works great on Steam Deck out of the box.

Flawless Out Of The Box
The game ran flawlessly out of the box. I haven't tried multiplayer or changing into windowed mode yet.

Forced resolution to 800p, and ran with proton experimental. No issues.

No issues.
