Changed refresh rate to 60Hz
Game font is a little hard to read on Steam Deck, and there's no option to change it
Stuttering/framerate dips. It's especially bad when moving into a new room. I disabled dynamic lighting and slightly reduced the resolution, which helped somewhat but didn't resolve the issue.
I had fun playing this on my Steam Deck. I think it will be a great Deck game with some more perf optimizations. I trust that the devs will prioritize that as they get closer to full release. (I played the first Early Access release.)

No issues at all , plays great.

Stuttering regardless of graphics settings. Smooth at first. Not sure what triggers stuttering.
Stuttering during gameplay. It's smooth at first but once stuttering begins it never goes away.

- Note: This review is for the UnderMine 2 Demo that was released for the Next Fest before general release of Early Access. The game is still under development and could change at any time. Information is correct at time of posting.
The game runs OK out of the box. I played the game docked to the TV. It defaults to 720p. The gamebruns on hot around 80-90% on the GPU at 60 frames, dropping at times when there are many enemies on screen. I turned off 'Dynamic Lighting' & 'Reflections', locked the FPS to 30 and didn't have any problems. I suspect that this might improve as development goes on but at the moment is on the edge of the Steam Deck's limits. Overall not too bad.
