One Random crash that never repeated.

Needs video codecs not present in Valve's Proton, so GE-Proton is a must. Tested with GE-Proton8-32 and 9-4. Videos played fine then. One of the beginning videos (where it ends with "I'm a G-D superhero!") didn't continue after ending. Pressing Select/Start to skip the video gets it to end and the game to proceed. I have not played far enough to notice any other videos getting "stuck" like that. Graphics set to High, seems to get a solid 90 FPS on OLED Steam Deck.

It is now possible to watch the cutscenes and everything works fine now

Gameplay is very smooth on max settings 144fps, with screen tearing happening only in the Alien Corridor. Few freezes happened, they seem to happen when you reload the same mission several times. Also got a freeze when i tried to grab the scorpion but it happened only once.

Gameplay ran without issues on 144fps. I had to manually skip the cutscene at the start of the game because it froze, besides that cutscenes work perfectly fine. I also experienced stuttering in Naomi's Lab but besides that area stuttering is infrequent.
Gamers will not enjoy being halted progress. This is a game breaker for many including myself
Cutscenes do not work but some cannot be skipped which results in a black screen, halting progress.
On Deck by default its in higher resolutoin, so you only see part of the screen. Configuration tool is unresponsive with any controls.

No cutscene video. Proton Experimental seems to launch games with English instead of Japanese (like GE does), however cutscenes are still a no go.
The configuration app would not respond to touch screen or track pads in deck gaming mode, but could be used if launched from desktop.
All prerendered video shows up as a black screen. You can still hear the audio. Once the cutscene is over, you have to manually select to skip it to move on. In engine cutscenes are not affected.
Game would temporarily stutter when loading new areas, but would return to fill speed.
The first time you launch the game, it defaults to Japanese with no way to change it other than to quit out and relaunch.
I hope this can be solved in a future proton update.

The game itself plays fine, however there is no video during cutscenes, audio only.
No video during cutscenes.
I tested with no compatibility options, proton experimental, GE-Proton7-37 and 35, and attempted installing codecs such as media foundation and ffdshow. The game itself plays fine but there's no video during cutscenes.
cutscenes dont work, lag spikes, starts in japanese, config menu doesnt work in gaming mode
settings launch option doesnt work with touchscreen or pads
game starts in japanese because of previously mentioned lack of touchscreen support
non in-game cutscenes are just a black screen, this also includes the little corner screen that pops up when sylvia talks to you.
lag spikes in even the starting area.
sad but im going to have to wait until i have access to my pc to play this. been waiting since it came out on switch.
No video in pre-rendered cutscenes. Audio still plays. The video seems to freeze at the end, can be mitigated by skipping them.
The settings window was unresponsive in game-mode. Had to switch to desktop mode, tune the settings and then return to gaming mode to start the game directly.
Dips in performance while new stuff appears on screen. Seems to be shader related as the game seems return to full speed after everything is loaded in.
Pre-rendered videos don't play. This results in a black screen with the audio still playing. No cutscene issues in-engine.
As the pre-rendered videos don't play, much of the story can be missed. These don't seem to work on Proton or on Proton GE 7-37 as of now. The gameplay remains stable though and FPS seems to be consistent aside from drops when new assets/effects are loaded in.
