Using a PS5 DualSense controller via Bluetooth pressing the "R1" button also pressed the "create" or "back" button at the same time. There is no mapping in game or in the steam controller settings that explains this and it only happens in this game. Using the same controller via cable doesn't have this problem.
Cutscenes drop a lot of frames, but that happens under windows too

Occasional white flash in during character creation. Some videos had momentary white blocks in small areas of the screen. Less of a problem or an annoyance than it sounds.
Out of curiosity, I wanted to try Wo Long with Experimental since it's more or less the same engine as Nioh 2, Team Ninja's previous game. Running current Experimental with Nioh 2 finally fixed video playback as far as I could tell so I wanted to test if Wo Long was also affected. Pleasantly, it works out of the box with the current version of Experimental. Videos play normally (with only a minor, uncommon artifact) and the framerate runs at the cap 100% of the time on my setup at the highest settings (120fps). The judgement on videos playing was based on roughly 2 hours of playtime. Note: if you don't want to use upscaling, set it to Bilinear and leave the resolution scale at 100%. It's dumb, but that's how to turn it off. Runs at or better than Windows.

- game crashes after leaving the fullscreen game a few times via Alt-Tab
- no issues in window and fullscreen-window mode
- bad performance even on lowest settings
- fps drops in effect heavy areas
- cutscenes sometimes get stuck until you restart the game (after cutscene ends you can hear game sound but the image is still frozen)
It's possible these issues are related to the PC port and not actually playing on Linux as a lot of users have reported the same behavior.

Some lost frames when outside of combat and going into a new area. Felt choppy in tutorial area but rarely got it stage 2 and up.
I tried all the recommended proton versions along with the latest GE and Bleeding Edge Experimental Steam versions.
GE 7-55 was stable for me for 4hrs playtime with mostly the 1st level being choppy outside of combat. Make sure to go into game settings and set it to FPS priority.
The game runs well
The game runs well on performance mode. Surpriced to see all new titles to work out of the box on linux.
The game does not run
The game synchronizes game files and processes vulkan shaders but does not run. The game shows playing but nothing hapeens.

一些关卡只有40fps
部分CG会白屏卡死
except for some CG white screen, game runs fine most of the time.
My video card is overheating and shuts down PC when opening Battle Flag Menu, but this is not related to Linux, it happens on Windows too.
I started playing with default proton settings, and it was fine half way of the game. Performance was even better than on Windows, but then i started to have problems with unplayable video during cutscenes, which was resolved by switching to Proton Experimental.
Now game runs great.
The only issue is GPU overheating when opening Battle Flag Menu, but this happens on Windows as well.
Runs better than with Windows actually (the overall experience is exactly the same but the loading times are almost halved).
I had alot of problems with choppyness and fps drops on Windows. Ran this on Linux with GE-Proton7-50 and so far I have experienced less problems, where this game actually ran better with very few fps drops and NO chopyness/slow motion at all.
Completely low settings, 90% texture scaling, 40hz 40fps locked worked well. Minimal fps drops. Very playable!
Spell selevtion sometimes crashes, but rarely
Proton Hotfix on Steam Stable branch worked best. On Proton experimental I had frequent crashes.

Video bug might've been fixed in Proton Experimental (Bleeding-Edge), as I wasn't able to recreate it towards the end of the game while learning all wizardry spells. This scenario would've had a very high likelihood of causing the bug to appear which is why I want to assume it might've been addressed.
Game ran pretty great at 4k 120hz on a 7900 XTX, but did seem CPU heavy in some areas for my 5800X such that my GPU wasn't seeing full utilization. I generally stayed in "FPS Mode" since "Resolution Mode" ran considerably worse in some areas, which may be related to the GPU not being able to hit full utilization in my setup.

On a Intel Cpu system with Nvidia GPU these are my settings to run the game well.
Need to use Proton Experimental for the cutscenes to not freeze and softlock your game. Other than that im using a dxvk.conf file in the root directory of the game with these settings.
dxgi.syncInterval = 0 d3d11.allowMapFlagNoWait = True d3d11.constantBufferRangeCheck = False d3d11.desyncTempResources = True d3d11.enableTiledResources = True d3d11.invariantPosition = True d3d11.maxTessellationLevel = 32 d3d11.relaxedBarriers = True d3d11.strictDivision = False d3d11.zeroInitWorkgroupMemory = False dxgi.deferSurfaceCreation = True dxgi.maxFrameLatency = 1 dxgi.numBackBuffers = 2
Stuttering after a few hours of play, fixed with my dxvk.conf
Cut scenes for some bosses with lock up your game and prevent you from progressing, fixed with proton experiemental.
Works well, should be better after a few patches

Runs only with Proton Experimental. My Laptop has a Hybrid GPU. The game wil not start as long as the iGPU is enabled or Nvidia prime is enabled. The only way to run the game for me is to have the Nvidia GPU as the only GPU from the bios setting. The game runs good so far, feels like it should deliver a more stable FPS considering the used hardware.

Video for tutorial boss wouldn't load the first time, but restarting the game fixed that. Not sure if this will happen further on or not.
Videos may pose issues at times but Proton Experimental (Bleeding-Edge) appears to be solving that.
Played the demo which was locked to 60, 30 for cutscenes. Here's hoping the full game lets the frame limit go higher and perhaps mods for cutscenes get made to unlock the framerates.
When visualising things, like spells or martials arts of a weapon, that play a video, the Steam Deck crash after a short amount of time (like a dozen of seconds).
Played only the demo but multiple have reported that the problems were similar in the final build of the game. The game runs well (you need the last version of proton experimental) on 30fps and performance mode, some stutter from time to time but very playable and fluid. The only issue, that's kinda annoying, are the frequent crashes when a mini-video play (like when you browse spells).
Works OOTB

the demo can work on Proton Experimental with bleeding-edge

筆電永遠使用intel 內顯而使用不了nvidia.laptop only can launch with intel igpu, not nvidia's
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 %command%
強制切到nvidia 也沒有用。force use nvidia command also not working

Game sufferers of many stutters but such behavior present also on windows so it's basically the game itself problem.
On stable proton the game is not playable because you can't skip or watch a start movie. After a new update of Proton Experemental, it's fully playable.

There are some framedrops here and there but for the most part it was a stable 60fps for me.
So framedrops when new effects show up for the first time, also the wizardry screen greatly decreases performance. No idea if this proton of the game's fault.
You'd need to set up Proton experimenta with bleeding edge for the game to work.

成功进入游戏,但是在点击“新游戏”后的CG部分卡住,游戏画面黑屏,右下角有跳过选项,但是按键提示为不存在的按键,并且点击任何按键都没有响应。

installs but unplayable
Installs and menu works fine but opening cutscene prior to character creation is just a black screen with audio that is distorted due to playing at a very low speed. Cannot skip cutscene, must use force quit to close game.

Unskippable, broken intro video.
Game menu and graphics all work fine. Intro video just doesn't play correctly and sounds incredibly slowed down. Cannot skip it whatsoever.
Only show black screen.Cutscene won't play and cannot be skipped
unplayable demo.
