


With proton Experimental/Hotfix, start 'New Game' will result in a black screen. Switch to a older proton version fix it.

Launch option to fix video playback as mention in a previous report

Setting the launch options to "WINE_DO_NOT_CREATE_DXGI_DEVICE_MANAGER=1 %command%
" solves the video playback issue mentioned in my previous report. Kudos to the tireless @kisak-valve in the Proton Github project!

Actual game plays fine, cutscenes between levels are broken
Video cutscenes are messed up: multiple overlaid images in different scales and wrong colors

Crashes when exiting.
Controllers are unusable with Proton-6.10-GE-1 for some reason but works fine with Proton-6.5-GE-2. Link Here
Glorious Eggrolls Proton 6 requires installing Wine 6. Details here for Ubuntu 20.04
Extract the Tar file and place it in folder
$~/.steam/compatibilitytools.d
If you don't have one, just create it.
- Restart Steam if you have it open. Right-click on Labyrinth City and select Properties>Compability. Check the Force Use Specific Compatibility Tool and select your choice of Proton.
Proton-6.10-GE-1
Will not work with Steamplay. Link to Glorious Eggroll's Proton Here
- Download the tar and extract.
- Place it in the $~/.steam/compatibilitytools.d If there isn't any, then create one.
- In steam, Right-Click on Labyrinth City and select Properties > Compatibility. Check the Force Use A Specific Compatibility Tool and select Proton-6.10-GE-1. If it isn't visible, restart steam.
