Various proton versions between Steam's Proton and GE
Crashes when loading the 4th level, no matter what proton version I use and even after verifying game files
Impeccable
Works fine out of the box

works very nice if the game is in the same disk part as steam install path.

Got a Steam update, and now everything works perfectly with the default Proton settings.

Game does not start at all, unless I run it through the Windows version of Steam via Lutris
Tried all sorts of different things, including Proton-GE, and the game won't run in Proton, but if I install the Windows version of Steam in Lutris using Wine-GE, it works.
Tried various tweaks, including several things mentioned on the Arch Wiki, different versions of Proton, Proton GE, protontricks, various Proton launch options, and nothing worked on this system. I even tried Mint and Fedora, the only other distros that currently have driver support on this computer, and they didn't work either. I bought this game after seeing the positive reports here and on YouTube, but it just crashes whenever I attempt to launch the game. The game does start on a laptop I have via the native Steam, but that laptop only has integrated graphics, so it's unplayable there.
However, as a last-ditch effort, I tried installing the Windows version of Steam using Lutris and its provided Wine-GE, and the game actually runs great that way. I'm honestly not sure why it works this way but not through Proton.

Tried installing libs, switching distros, nothing worked

Checkpoint boxes FPS drops
No problem, it went smooth but for some reason the checkpoint boxes drops my FPS, i tried all the settings and nothing worked but the game itself runs great.
Flawless
Game played perfectly.
I was able to play through the main game and gather some collectibles and in my entire time of playing I had absolutely no issues, it ran as if it was Native. Dualsense and Steam Controller worked for me as well.
I've completed the game without issues using Proton 7.0-6 (videos rendering fine)
Lowering the graphic settings improves on the battery life.
When on battery, it's recommended to tone down on graphics for longer lasting playthroughs. Otherwise, runs flawlessly by default.

I set proton ge 7-43 and it worked
Experimental Proton solve the cutscenes issue.

Game stuttered heavily, sound very much bugged, slowdowns, crashes
I suspect a sound related issue. It seems like multiple sound tracks playing all at once. Was unable to fix.

Switch to experimental to get cutscenes to play. A little stuttering at first launch (shader compilation), otherwise smooth sailing.
Missing cutscenes (audio and video, only subtitles would show) before updating nvidia drivers to 515
Game works fine for the most part, but requires recent hardware and drivers
Sometimes no sound in cutscenes
some cutscenes are just black with subtitles and no sound
Except for the few missing cutscenes, the game runs absolutely great.
Stuttering, seems like shader compiles
Turned down the settings to medium and set the frame rate limit to 40 hertz
Works great out of the box. Used Proton-GE for async dxvk while Steam is building up the shader cache for this title
