Had occasional audio issues but these would only last a second, not enough to be an issue
Game crashed exactly once but was otherwise fine
Fyi idk if the issues I found were because of the steam deck or if they also happen when playing the game on windows
Functioned perfectly start to finish.
30 FPS for better battery life
Pretty much a perfect experience on Steam Deck. Dropping down to 30 FPS also gives a pleasant battery life experience.
Perfect experience with default Proton. No complaints.

The game was updated since the last time I had to tinker, decided to switch from GE to regular experimental proton and I believe that did the trick

Game won't start
It installs, but then it just says "Running", and it stops.
You wouldn't notice it's not a native build
The game itself runs perfectly fine so far after my 45 minutes of playtime.
The game auto defaults to Xbox controller scheme for the UI, this happened on my windows side so be wary that you'll need to figure out what keys are what for the controller buttons. if you use a controller there shouldn't be any real issue.
Also the game only runs at 30fps, and no this isn't a bug, that's what they set it to.
Controller Issue; Otherwise Operates Normally.
Game would not accept controller inputs (they work on windows), even when controller inputs were displayed on screen. Controller itself is registered; use of Steam Controller with a config sending the keyboard inputs in place of buttons works fine.
Game is locked at 1080p in fullscreen (not proton related) and 30 FPS but ran with no issues apart from a single loading hitch in one transition screen that has not repeated.
