CPU TDP: 7-9W / GPU Clock Speed Frequency: 700-900MHz
For the most part, the game runs flawlessly on Linux. The only exception that I would consider are the controls, mainly due to the game's 6DOF mechanics. However, there are variable auto-level settings so you do not have to worry about rolling.
You can get about 5-6 hours of playtime if you limit the TDP and GPU clock frequency on 60 FPS, but there are some framerate dips due to heavy effects like in-game explosions, weapon particles, debris, etc.
To unbind control mappings, you want to "rebind" an action then press the Start button to unbind its current setting.
Works perfectly OOTB

Runs perfectly, controls great out of the box, only issue is some of the screen prompts for controls show keyboard controls.
When the prompt says "Press Y to show controls", the controller input is the A button.

6DOF Goodness
The only windowed option is "fullscreen windowed" but it's not a window. You can't push it to the back or minimize it in KDE plasma 5.27
If you're a fan Descent style games where you never truly know what's up or down and where the next mob will come from, you'll enjoy this. The graphics are a bit simple though, or too, if you're after that real Descent nastagia withouth the hassle of compiling DXX-Rebirth... or having access to any of the maps.
