With default Proton (tested on 7.0-6, 8.0-2, Experimental) there are numerous problems with cutscenes. Half of the time they fail to initialize, show unresponsive black screen (freeze) or CTD. The final credits animation is completely broken and only shows color bar test chart.
Proton GE fixes these problems, but makes the cutscenes resolution slightly off.
Otherwise runs almost perfectly on highest graphical settings (minor frame drops in a single location).
Works with an odd resolution
The game doesn't list 1920x1080 as a resolution. Only 1920x800
-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
1080p resolution wasn't available via the settings menu, but setting it via launch options worked fine.
Using standard Proton, as of mid-January 2023, cutscenes do not work, which hampers the game's story. Installing Proton-GE is required to make them display.
