The game offers a default, DirectX12, Vulkan, and DirectX11 option for running. It fails with "Fatal error!" when attempting to launch with the default, DX12, or DX11 options. But it runs with no obvious problems under Vulkan. I did experience occasional glitches like my character freezing, but that appears likely to be a bug in the game itself rather than in Proton.
