Could not get it work, across a bunch of proton versions and VKD3D/DXVK flags.
Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 8.0-5, Set launch options
-windowed -noborder -dx11

Across a few dozen starts the launcher was no problem, but I had a black screen on launch most of the time. With Proton 8.05 I saw the main menu twice, but could not click anything to get past the privacy notice. This could not be reliably replicated, maybe a shader cache issue? Disabling DXVK caches did not help.
