Not able to play on multiple systems
Have been Playing OmD2 without issues on Manjaro. Now couldn't get it to work on three very different systems, Linux Mint, Fedora, Arch. Tried Flatpak and non-Flatpak-versions, all with similar behaviour.
Proton Experimental/Proton 8 starts up the game but the first animation is somehow way too bright, same as the menu. In the Menu things are being weirdly shifted/overlayed and I can't select a map to start. Options Menu works but doesn't help with anything.
Proton 7/Older will start the game with only black screen. I tried the recommended start parameters here but nothing changed.
I was playing it flawlessly for weeks and now can't kill orcs anymore.... what am I gonna do?
Game Menu broken (newer Proton) or Black Screen (older Proton)
When starting with Proton 8/Experimental, the Startup Animation is somehow way too bright and also the menu seems to have way too high gamma. Additionally the Menu is broken in various ways that are hard to describe. Settings are still accessible but don't influence this. Can't access any levels or start a map.
On Proton 6 or earlier I only get a black screen as described previously on this site. Changing start parameters has no influence on that.
The same thing happens on three different systems with Fedora, Linux Mint and Arch. I recently played OmD2 on Manjaro without any problems.
