Works flawlessly on gentoo with majority of stable packages ;)

Whole screen flickers, the flickering keeps persistent even after closing the game and rebooting in KDE. The flickering stops itself after some time on its own.
I get the same fps regardless of potato or ultra settings, occasional texture flickering. The regadless the game was playable.
After the recent kde update 6.2.4 and after updating to zen kernel 6.12.5 the game got significantly worse to play now with very frequent texture flickers, well the whole screen flickers to the point of it being uplayable. Performance also got worse -- low and unstable fps upon entering a location. This sometimes fixes itself by repeatedly opening and closing inventory. If I disable the launch options the flickering and performance issues come immidieatally, with launch options it takes couple of location loads but the end result is the same.
The game also sometimes freezes the whole pc requiring hard reset. The kernel does not respond. This happened to me roughly 3 times in the whole 83 hours played.
setting fps limits does not do anything or does not do what it should. setting 45 fps limit brings better frame rate than setting 75 fps limit

Noticably worse performance issues, especially frame stability.
Multiplayer works just as it would on windows.

You have to set a fps limit or else this goes uncapped and can give your gpu a hard time. I have tested this both on windows 10 and my gentoo install - on gentoo I notice slight performance boost in frame stability, also have higher fps overall on max settings 2K resolution. Apart from that there are minor graphical artifacts but these occur on windows too. Overall the process of setting this game up on linux today was wayyy easier than setting it on windows 7 back in 2012.

Sometimes when I open the signs menu and quickly move my mouse out of it whilst closing the sign menu the game freezes completely and has to be killed.
Runs as well as on windows, actually I would say the performance is better.

Alt tabbing or shift tabbing crashed the game once, happened only once in all the time I have played it so I guess its fine. Just DO NOT FORGET TO SAVE OFTEN!
When using alt whilst it is bound to the "highlight all clickables" function, it disables the ability to click anything that is clickable, which makes the game unplayable (only on this old version of proton, does not happen with the most recent ones). I fixed it by binding this function to the left ctrl key.
On newer versions of the proton the game would crash in specific locations when trying to save, this would also result in corrupting the previous save file.
On any newer version than proton 3.16 the game would either not start at all or would crash when entering new locations or when trying to save. This would happen so often it is making the game unplayable. The most common reason in the logs for the crashes was this: pid 26751 != 26750, skipping destruction (fork without exec?)
