controller is not offically supported. touchpad is needed to navigate menus and ui. i also turned down the in game mouse sensitivity to about 15-20% to make the right joystick more usable this is what feels good to me L2 = shift(run) requires holding A = spacebar(jump) X = E(use) X(double tap) = left click(throw) tried with R2 but feels off B or left joystick click = right click(dive) currently testing if it feels natrual with B R2(half) = tab(status) R2(full) = q(orders) any grip buttons = F3, F4 (F3 is needed to skip tutorials and F4 is needed to ready up. maybe holding the back button could be used for skipping or ready up)
low settings. locked fps to 45. tried 30, but feels too laggy and camera movement is stuttering
game isn't optomized. but can somewhat maintain 50-60fps. recommend keeping it at 45fps. even on my primary windows pc i had to utilize the windows dxvk patches to minimize the stutter.
the game can sometimes experinces fatal error crashes. it affects all systems from what i observed. hopefully the devs add controller support. the emulated controls i came up with seem to work good enough. i haven't tested enough at later days to see if the deck wants to have a meltdown with a lot of npcs present. im also using cryoutilities. no idea how the game runs without it.
I think it currently runs better on linux than it does on windows. Had to use the windows dxvk dll patches to smooth the stutters out
Doesn't support controller. had to bind keys to emulate a controller. back buttons are used for f3 and f4. made a community layout
locked fps to 45
game seems to start slowing down after playing for a while. possibly a memory leak
