Sometimes there's just a black screen at the end of the match and restart is needed. If you're not annoyed by restarting at least once every few matches, the game is playable since it doesn't affect the actual gameplay.
Turning on low latency mode brakes the game. It crashes it within minutes and restarting results in just a black screen until it crashes again. Fixed by reinstaling since it turns off the low latency.

The season 1 update made the game less optimized for linux. Set launch options are needed to even start the game now. The ones that I found here have prevented further crashes or frame drops during the gameplay, so it is playable with the modifications. With this I thank everyone that has left comments here, without you I wouldn't be able to play and enjoy the game <3
With normal Proton there will be a few backgrounds missing, as well as no ability previews. Still playable but GE fixes those issues.

Crashes once every other week or so. Rare enough that you can still enoy it.
The launch options help it crash less, without them it will crash several times a week. If you want to buy something with your steam wallet however, make sure to remove them before starting the game, as well as making sure steam overlay in on, otherwise the pop-up will not appear. You can add them back and restart the game afterwards.
