The game is quite choppy, but playable after adjusting the settings.
I did install and register the media foundation components however that didn't fix the cutscene audio. I even tried installing k-lite codec pack in the prefix and that didn't fix it either.
Audio is broken in the cutscenes, with the default proton configuration. Switching to GE turns off cutscene audio completely. Running the game in desktop mode gives me the best result where audio distortion is minimal but still present.
Run in desktop mode with the default config for best results
Installed d3dcompiler_47
mapped game specific keyboard inputs
The game does not launch without d3dcompiler_47 installed on the prefix
Runs smoothly with maxed settings and full gamepad support. The use of the trackpad is not really necessary, I just prefer to have it on.
Runs at solid 60 fps most of the time, but certain spots in some levels cause dignificant drops. It is not game breaking, but it's noticeable.
Map and in game menu are very small and barely readable.
GE-Proton7-22 gives best results from my testing. Stutters and texture loading issues are very rare with this version.
Controls work as intended but on-screen control hints are not showing properly. Show as empty circles instead of ABXY.
The cutscene videos do not work with the default steam configuration but work with GE-Proton
Had tomodify the install script. If you remove musicfix from the script the game starts and runs.
controller is not supported you have to map mouse and keyboard controls
background musi doesn't work without the fix but the fix would not install
some geometry is not rendered properly
Only 800x600 works, any other resolution causes black screen
Whithout tinkering the install script just hangs forever. Game videos do not play without ge-proton
Set game to window mode and set resolution to 1024x640 in configuration file.
The game defaults to 720p and runs under 30fps at that res. No other resolutions are available, so you have to edit the configuration file in AppData manually.
