The first time anything loads, you will experiance hard studdering. and higher settings make this very rough. However, after these cache, the game runs better then windows for me.
preformance issue mentioned above, it will lag your system. i recommend playing low stake until preformance sisstable, then go from their.
my issue was easy anti-cheat not working. after i switch proton versions, it ran fine.
it went great, except after a few songs my screen started to become cloudy an- oh that was my sweat.... nevermind runs great.
steam's vr overlay is still a bit buggy/slow and still needs some work, but other then that, this works great

the best way i can put it, is the menu tried to load some elements in 1080p, but then the menu is scaled ot 1600x900, and because of clipping layers it doesn't work out well, but it doesn't work out the best. but everything still loads fine when selecting, some thigns are just empty boxes with no labels.
the menu issue is a pain, so you might have to sorta brute force trying to find specific custom game stuff, but outside that, i'd say it runs and looks better on linux
