Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton7-41, Set launch options
WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 gamemoderun %command% -nostartupmovies
Try out AMD FSR, it boosted my performance by 20-30 FPS without making any noticeable difference in image clarity and quality.

Windowing:Switching
Alt-Tab on fullscreen causes the game to become unresponsive. Switching to any other window mode solves the issue (though that may cause a slight performance hit)
