HUD is on your rear windshield, and with AA turned off for 60fps gameplay, the info on the on-car HUD can be difficult to read. Not much going on there though, outside of "INPUT CORRUPT" under certain circumstances.
1280x800, most graphics turned to low, rock-solid 60fps.
Level editor is a mouse and keyboard interface with lots of teeny UI elements, so I'd only try that in desktop mode when docked with real peripherals.
Primary HUD has no issues, I play with captions on and they're pretty small but not unreadable. Labels on the map can be difficult to read, but symbol recognition is your friend. Smallest text is slightly smaller than the superscript text on the performance overlay (like ^MHz )
Moving to and from SD seems to nuke your save; thankfully, it's backed up with your Xbox account.
Usually lasts 15 to 40 minutes between freezes. Audio continues, video and game engine freeze, video freezes so hard even the overlay stops updating. Can easily force close from left-side overlay and then relaunch.
Anything above Very Low causes random stuttering even when dropping FPS to 30, even with manual tinkering in the graphics settings.
Game engine doesn't obey in-game FPS limiter; gotta use the steam overlay to limit it. If you want to limit it to 30, definitely limit in-game and with the overlay for the least jitter.
Very Low preset gives you 60fps frequently with dips to ~50. Worth it over a 30fps cap.
Only thing required is setting the steam play runtime to 1.0 Scout, then runs beautifully.
