The game ran of the box. Under my 22 hours of playtime i encountered 2 bugs that also exist on Windows. Black blops on characters (AMD CPU issue) and crashing when trying to investigate in some scenes.
Black blops was an easy fix, see link here above.
Investigate bug was very rare. I encountered it twice in different places in 22 hours.
All in all very good game, would properly have had 1-to-1 experience on windows.
Proton version was Proton9.0-4

Fanatec CSL DD QR2 Ready2Race Bundle (8 Nm) is not natively supported on Linux. Oversteer doesn't work properly, and i haven't found a solution yet.
Tinker steps only shows mangohud and sets target fps to 145. Just remember to start the game in DXVK, so it starts the game with Vulkan. Otherwise i couldn't get it to work.

Need to install HidFanatecFF repo to get CSL DD Wheel base and pedals to work
So after some more testing (10 weeks almost) i got my Fanatec Wheelbase, Wheel and pedals to work. Only need to bind some controls after startup (acc, brake, gear switching and so on). It runs better on Linux then Windows!
