Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental, Set launch options, Changed configuration
Do not use DX11
After running the game the first time, which installs an old version of UPlay, you must install Ubisoft Connect. From your web browser download Ubisoft Connect to a folder on the deck. Use Steam Tinker Launch and select One Time Run to Install Ubisoft Connect, it will error out after installation but that is okay. Then change Proton to Experimental and the game should load.
