Game won't run for more than a few minutes. Not enough time to load into any games
gamemoderun %command%
While it does start and I can start loading into a single/multiplayer game, it will never run long enough to actually get into a game without crashing. It also resets all my options on every launch.
I was able to play with no tinkering at all (beyond my default steam settings) and no noticable performance hitches.
My input device wasn't detected automatically, but I probably could have easily fixed that in settings/with a restart (this happens in Overwatch as well sometimes)
I only ever reached ~120 FPS when my monitor is 165HZ and I can hit that consistently with other games like this.
I think highlight replay saving just didn't work.
The launcher complains that I'm missing drivers/the right verison of Windows, and temporarily goes black when I move the launcher window. But just ignoring all that and hitting launch gets me into the game with no problems.
Too stuttery. Basically makes the game unplayable as 2 seconds of a lag spike can ruin a moment.
Lower quality than with the same settings on W11, almost as if resolution is turned down.
Frequent client-side stuttering, affecting even Discord audio
All problems experienced were client-side, not internet related
Can't initialize EAC, even using Flatpak Steam
Some people say they can get the game running by installing/running through flatpak steam. I cannot, I still can't initialize, even when switching to other Proton versions.
Without tabbing out in fullscreen, works flawlessly. Got through most of the second stage before saving.
Crashes every time I tab-out of fullscreen.
Even works without stuttering with different refresh-rate multi-monitor NVIDIA setup. Loving it!
I can at least still play with keyboard. I'm not sure if other types of controllers work better.
Specifically after installing Repentance+: DS4 under Steam Input had all inputs mapped wrong. 2 virtual controllers show up in the Controllers game settings, one is correct and the other one is all messed up (and of course the messed up one is the one the game decides to use when playing). With Steam Input disabled, the game thinks I'm holding down left+down and I can't even get into a game properly.
Doesn't launch at all with Linux Native, since I use Wayland.
