This is a good game. Minor issues on Linux but otherwise works very well.
The game occasionally crashes; I have yet to find out why it crashes, but I've experienced them while playing multiverse somewhat recently. (Maybe some newer updates made crashes on Linux more freqeuent?) The Windows version of the game sometimes brings up an error popup that shows what happened; the Linux version does not do this.
I've spent over 2000 hours in this game primarily playing its multiplayer, known as Multiverse. For the most part, works identically to Windows, minus those few crashes I've mentioned. Also, while a Playfab tab exists for joining and hosting games, the Linux version can't actually join or host Playfab and things will only break if it tries to do so.
I do note that I have been playing with mods. These mods are considered standard by the multiverse (in the Discord's #looking-to-play, at least) community and are typically quite stable.
