Works well with this specific Proton version for now. It might change or not, depending on updates, urge the devs to consider us amap...

DXVK_ASYNC=1 is the default as far as I know, I just put it in because I am weird.
This ammount of tinkering is beyond any reasonable gaming experience. The ammount of reading I had to do on and beyond ProtonDB is too much.

Textures loading on low serttings
Game can go from 150 to 20 fps while changing window mode.
Fast travelling and loading new areas can crash the game.
My machine is more than capable of running this game on high settings. DX12 is a sad reality for linux gaming and it is a bad experience for a long time now. Hell, I played the mess that was cyberpunk on release on high to ultra settings, and got decent framerates. This is a total fail optimization-wise on Avalanches part. I do a "revelio spell" in a crowsded area where I had 20 FPS and all of a sudden I have above 130 FPS. This is an obvious memory managment problem, it leaks all the time. I am sad to play this game on low because obviously a lot of care went into it (mostly on art, the technical side is a dumpsterfire on PC). Basic case of console game ported to PC. Greedy bastards.
No sound whatsoever, not appearing in pavucontrol
lib32-libpulse was missing, installing that package fixed it.
