Controller was not recognized with Proton Experimental (bleeding edge branch) until i deleted the old Proton prefix and let steam build a new one. Had no issues after latest patch. There may be other controller recognition issues for some, you may need to try a few different fixes reported by other users.
Had to either launch in forced offline mode or use Proton Experimental (bleeding edge branch, for online mode to work) in order to successfully launch the game, this is not necessary anymore and online mode just works after latest patch, using regular non-bleeding edge Proton Experimental.
Currently, since latest patch, Steam Overlay does not work.
Some multiplayer stability issues affecting both linux and windows users when trying to summon more than 1 cooperator, may have been fixed of alleviated after latest patch, need further tests.
Overall the game is in playable and enjoyable state, just make sure to use latest Proton Experimental for online mode to work, or Proton-7.3-GE-1 for forced offline mode. Easy Anti-Cheat working in linux (granted, with a few issues) at launch for such a big title is very fortunate. Some problems are always expected at launch, i am glad these are being tackled quickly.
