Gets laggy and/or skips frames, gets worse the longer the game is run. Artifacts on text in game lobby menu, difficult to read text doesn't fit boxes and is blurry

Works as expected
Minor inconvenience when using alt-tab. The focus changes but the game will not minimize. This can be mitigated by using two monitors and the other windows were previously placed on the screen the game is not on.
This game runs perfectly, which is great because it never used to work in the past. Sound works, and input was with wired xbox controller

Replace with exe file by downloading the sonic-4-launcher_r4_gcc zip from https://github.com/darealshinji/sonic-4-launcher/releases/tag/r4
Replace with exe file by downloading the sonic-4-launcher_r4_gcc zip from https://github.com/darealshinji/sonic-4-launcher/releases/tag/r4
Extract the SonicLauncher exe file and replace the same exe file name in the main Sonic 4 directory.
