Audio crackling since latest update
Mild framerate drops since latest update
Tried all kinds of configs and proton versions, and tried changing a bunch of ingame audio/graphics setting - but no matter what I get an awful audio crackling on both the game and other applications since the latest update.
As a desktop title, this game works OOTB. Minor control tweaks are needed when using on Steam Deck.
Enable controller support with m+kb on first launch
You must use a keyboard input method to enter the game settings, and rebind the controls to the controller. Once done, the game will remember the gamepad preference and will not need to be done again.
Game has keyboard-input-only by default. You must use keyboard controls in-game to change to controller input. Once done, the game persistently works as expected.
No tinkering needed for desktop, but minor control-layout juggling is needed for Steam Deck on first-launch only.
