Somewhat playable. I suspect we will see massive performance improvments in the coming weeks. These same issues are affecting PC users too.
Even when running the game on the absolute lowest settings including AMD FSR 2 using ultra performance mode the deck struggles to run Hogwarts Legacy at a steady 30 FPS. The game does maintain 30 fps, but there are regular lag spikes and drops to about 10-15fps.
I do not suspect these performance issues are due to the decks hardware and instead are due to the poor optimization of Hogwarts Legacy as a whole due to it having just been released.
I did not do super in-depth testing due to the negative performance issues, however, I do not believe there are many options at this time to further the optimization outside of the Hogwarts Legacy developers fixing and improving the performance issues that are being experienced across the board. Especially the random fps drops that happen frequently.
In terms of hardware usage the deck did not seem to be making full use of its hardware and I suspect this leads back to the optimization issues that Hogwarts Legacy will need to improve on in the coming weeks. Utilization hovered around 50% for both GPU and CPU while RAM usage was around 8GB.
Loads perfectly, but says the game might not work properly because EasyAntiCheat was no able to load. You can join matches, but after a minute or so the game kicks you back to the lobby because of EasyAntiCheat.
