ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON
Poor and stuttery performance makes this unenjoyable, despite powerful hardware. Both CPU and GPU seemed to sit around only 50% utilisation.
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
Averaged 40-50fps compared to 110-120fps on Windows

Using gamemoderun adds 20+% performance. Equivalent performance to Windows (well, both hit the 120 fps cap at max settings anyway).
Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton8-14, Set launch options
eval $(echo "VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 gamemoderun %command%" | sed "s/start_protected_game.exe/armoredcore6.exe/")
Update since last report: A BIOS update (which also reset BIOS settings to defaults) scored a huge performance uplift (only in Linux). Not sure whether it was some option I had configured previously or something new in the BIOS update, but the difference is night and day, from a microstuttery ~40 fps to smooth 120+. How strange...
The 'eval' and 'sed' part of the launch options is to launch without anticheat so you can use the steam overlay, mangohud, etc.

RUINER
No noticeable glitches or errors.
Performs better than the native Linux release. The native version failed to play some FMV cutscenes. Switching to Proton 4.11-11 solved this issue.
