ONLY works with Proton-TKG, and a very recent version of it at that. Literally just go grab the zip of it, put it in the correct steam folder, and the game plays as good, if not better than it would on windows.

Upcoming online play however is a whole other question. Game does not run AT ALL without Proton-TKG, but runs FLAWLESSLY, with it.
