At first, my controller wasn't working properly. Switching to Proton Hotfix solves this issue
Native Linux Runtime does not bode well with DualSense
Linux Runtime seems to not click well with DualSense, I recommend using a version of Proton if anything like this happens to you. Played and it ran perfectly from then on
Game's too buggy to be ran on Linux right now, will experiment on Windows to make sure it's a Linux specific problem and edit accordingly.
Scoutflies are pixelly
Mouse would always flip around even though game was not focused, this would lead to your mouse always looking to go back to the game window even though you're tabbed out doing something else on another monitor.
Game says its 60-80 fps, does not feel like it however.
Was unable to complete a hunt since my game crashed midway through, though to be fair I've yet to try again.
FSR 3 does not work. You can only choose Native as an option, Balanced to Performance all lead to visuals going black and only your mouse showing.
Playing this game on Linux is awful. Currently, the Windows version reigns supreme.
Mouse sometimes springs back to the out-of-focus window so when you're using multiple monitors your mouse will always be trying to jump back
Game definetly does not play 60-80fps on Linux. I've tried on Windows aswell as Linux and can say that the Windows version sticks true to the FPS.
Unable to finish a hunt, game crashes midway through
This is obviously a beta and can be buffed out
- FSR does not work unless you choose the "Native AA" option. Balanced-Performance options lead to your visuals not being able to load and your game going black. Mouse still shows.
- FPS shown do not represent FPS in-game. I've tried on both OSs and the Windows version does show the 70fps as 70fps but the Linux version stutters and feels like 30.
- Linux version crashes too frequently to be enjoyed.
At first I assumed the FPS issue was a gpu clocking thing, however after setting my gpu to Highest Clocks using LACT the issue remained. Hope the Proton team gets this game to work on Linux
If your game seems stuttery/slow despite it saying 60fps, change your GPUs Performance Level setting to High using programs like LACT
Changed "Performance Level" setting in LACT to "Highest Clocks"
Potentially, Steam Overlay may bug out. This was solved by a re-install of Tekken 8
Stutters may appear if you do not have your GPU's Performance Level set to High.
